I have an issue where sometimes when I pause a video, the video pauses but the audio track keeps going. To reliably pause, I have to back out of a video and then resume it when I am ready.
This is on 8.1.6, Apple TV 4K, debug code is 85VR0 (or O, please don’t include ambiguous characters in codes that are meant to be shared).
Can you try installing the latest 8.1.7 update (released today) to see if this helps with what you are seeing here?
You may also check to see if you are running the recent tvOS 18.5 update as this also includes some fixes and improvements.
Given it a go with 8.1.7 and I was on tvOS 18.5 initially. Seems like whatever it was has been fixed. Thanks!
