Pass metadata details via x-callback-url

Hi,

I’m trying to integrate Infuse with another app and I’m having some trouble with the x-callback-url. I know you support it, but I couldn’t find any information on what parameters you can accept. Specifically, I’d like to pass metadata like title, season number, episode number, and IDs to Infuse, but I’m not sure how to format them or if you can even parse them.

Your documentation mentions that you can call back to the app when playback is complete, canceled, or encounters an error, but it doesn’t mention anything about accepting parameters.

Can you guys clarify what parameters you accept via x-callback-url and how I should format them? I’d really appreciate it if you could add this to your documentation as well. Thanks!

This guide has details on all the options which are supported at this time.

Thank you! I would like to know if there are plans to support more parameters in the future, particularly through x-callback-url, which would allow for more detailed metadata to be passed to Infuse. Specifically, it would be helpful for Infuse to recognize details like TMDB ID, season number, and episode number. I need this for Trakt sync, as the file name alone isn’t always sufficient.

Exactly. Especially for those who use subtitles, when we are redirected to infuse it does not find the correct metadata and makes it impossible for us to use the subtitles. Considering that infuse is just a player, this is essential feature for the app to work properly and would have to be reviewed as soon as possible.

Moved to suggestions. Thanks!
