i was going nuts trying to plat 720p mkv files on the beast

it took way 2 long to convert the files using whatever program #@!%$#

ok here it goes ; u’ll need QT pro and perian

- open mkv file in QT pro stop play and wait till it fully loads just a few min
> - then under file go 2 export a dialog box will open on the lower portion toggle the export box to ( movie to MPEG-4 )
> - next 2 that box is an options button hit it and a new dialog box opens mpeg-4 export settings
> - under the video format change to ( pass through )
> - if its grayed out u’ll have 2 close all boxes and go to the windows tab then down to ( show movie properties )
> - then look down at the bottom of the list and u will see a second audio track uncheck it and your good to go ( close all open boxes )

then repeat the process 1 - 4 and hit save and u will c it exporting to mpeg

u b done a 4.69 gb file took less than 20 min 2 change over from mkv 2 mpeg-4 and it plays Bu-tea-full :evil:
