Odd pauses during playback

Infuse is stopping playback and displaying the spinning wheel at random moments during playback. The video will be playing then it just stops and the spinning wheel will be displayed. About sixty seconds later the spinning wheel goes away and playback resumes like nothing ever happened. This started about two weeks after the smb improvement release (awesome job Firecore!). and continues to happen with the plex support release. Infuse does not respond to the remote while the wheel is spinning. When playback does resume, everything works fine.

Details:
Apple TV 4, not 4K. Wireless connection to the router which is about 8 feet away. Have rebooted and pulled the power cable.
Video resides on a WDMYBOOK with wired connection to the router. It has worked flawlessly for over a year. Have rebooted, and pulled the power cable too.

Hmm, sorry about that.

Just for fun, can you try connecting an Ethernet cable to the Apple TV to see if that changes anything. Sometimes Wi-Fi can be a bit unpredictable, even in close proximity.

If that doesn’t help, drop us a note from your device the next time it happens and we can look further into what is going on.

Changing to wired eliminated the problem. Thanks for the suggestion.
