I have been unable to obtain any metadata for TV show DVDs that I’ve ripped. For example, I’ve ripped all the current seasons of The Big Bang Theory and I get no cover art or metadata. I know individual shows would probably get me this information through TheTVDB, but what about season DVDs?

Unfortuantely videos that contain multiple TV episodes have always been a problem, as there’s been no reliable way to tell which episodes are contained on a DVD or to display multiple episode info for a single file.
It’s something we’d like to address down the road, but as far as I’m aware none of the other players (XBMC, etc…) have a good way of handling these cases either.
