Not caching entire video file on Apple TV

Apple TV 4K 128GB, connected via ethernet. Plenty of storage space, only a few apps installed. I have manually restarted the Apple TV. Infuse Pro 8.5. Streaming cache setting set to “Auto”.

The video file I’m trying to play is under 5GB. Infuse only pre-caches about half of the file. When playback reaches that point, it enters a mode where it only reads the next chunk of the file as it needs it, which causes HDD read noise on my NAS.

Why doesn’t it cache the entire file up-front? I would prefer if it did. Seems like there should be plenty of space. Is there a setting I can change to make Infuse do this? Thanks!

You can try adjusting the cache behavior, but I believe this was done this way to prevent drives from going to sleep

I deleted the Infuse app and re-installed it and that fixed this issue! The entire file now pre-caches successfully. Must have cleared up some old leftover cruft or something.
