As for me, I have been successful in jailbreaking all my devices (total of six) with no problems.  Keep in mind, if you manage to jailbreak the AVT2 you may not see the Icon “FC” instead it put an Icon “Nitto”.  Once jailbroken and you are able to write or update XBMC to your ATV2 you’re good to go.  If you are experiencing issues getting it done I will post the steps that works for me…

There are threads in this forum clearly documented the steps how to jailbreak ATV2 (non 5.21).  What do you trying to state? Can yo  jailbreak 5.21?
