Noise on AVI and VOB files

Hi,

 

updated to the latest versions - and was watching Shrek this morning on an AVI file -and noticed it has a strange ‘clicking’ noise. You can hear the soundtrack fine, but theres just this noise in the background

MP4s are fine - but i have a few VOB files, and the noise exists on there as well.

 

Any ideas?

Are you connected to an AV receiver or just a TV?

Can you try disabling the AC3 and DTS audio options in the Media --> Settings menu.
