Im not sure where to go from here, I jailbroke my TV and installed aTV black. I was told I should see a change in the menu of the ATV2 but I cant find any change.
Any tips on what to do next? Is it installed properly? How can I watch my video files?

Running IOS 4.1.1 (not latest). I'm quite positive I've successfully jailbroken (can SSH into apple TV)
Process of installing ATVFlash runs smoothly (AppleTV nicely found and listed in pull down menu; Files transferred ok)
But no maintenance menu
==> I'm unsure if I can/should power down/up the apple TV after the tethered boot?
==> Should I upgrade to IOS 4.2.1? It seems there is some trouble with jailbraking that version

Which version of the aTV Flash (black) installer are you using?
Do you have any other 3rd party software installed?
I just bough it so Im guessing it will be the latest version?
I just did a restore of the factory settings and will try to jailbreak it using greenpoison instead of the first one I did.
I mannaged to JB with greenpoison twice by going into DFU mode with the menu-down and then menu-play commands, but it didnt change anything. I made sure to wait 1 minute after it was done to make sure it was properly loaded. Didnt work so Im going to try it again now from the restore.
Ok a restore may solve the issue. However, please note GreenPois0n will only jailbreak the 4.1.1 (iOS 4.2.1) AppleTV software.
Seas0nPass is the most reliable option for the current 4.2.1 (iOS 4.3) AppleTV software.

I tried finding my ATV2 ip earlier, but its only said DHCP and then a five or six digits. What do I type in to get ssh access? What do I need to be able to stream from my MBP? NitoTV, Plex og XMBC? What would you advice me to go for?
