Network error with TrueHD

Hello, Infuse mostly works great, except this one snag I’ve hit. For any files I want to play that have TrueHD audio, I get the screen to add the Dolby Audio plugin. I hit the button to add it, it tells me a family member already paid so I get it for free (I’m the family member who paid), and then it tells me there is a network error.

I have tried everything. I have deleted the app. I have restarted my Apple TV. I’ve tried on my phone. I’ve deleted and redownloaded on my phone. I did a factory reset on my Apple TV. I signed out and back in to the App Store. I changed my credit card on file. I changed the setting off that requires a password to download apps.emphasized text Everything. I can’t get past this network error.

Any help is appreciated.

Any chance you’re also running a VPN?

I’m not, unfortunately.

You may want to make sure that the primary user on the ATV is the same Apple ID that has the subscription to Infuse. It may not work if it’s one of the secondary users.

Sorry to hear about that.

Restoring purchases is normally handled automatically by the App Store, but in rare cases this may need to be done manually.

This guide has more info on steps you can follow to manually restore purchases for yourself, as well as family members.

Oh, goodness. For anyone googling in the future: I had to enable purchase sharing, even though I haven’t needed to do that for any of the other add-ons, for this to finally work.

This can be closed. Thanks!
