network error during playback

I was just thrown out out playback using the mediaplayer. it says “an error occured” AFP connection failed, unreachable network or incorrect login.

I cant get it to go to my NAS share anymore, it keeps throwing the error.

 

Other devices can still access the share normally. This seems to be a software issue. Only after a hard reset of the ATV it can access the files again.

Do you access your AFP share with the IP adress ?

yes, but Im thinking it might have been a local network problem. Im using wireless, which is fine with 720P. But i can imagine this hiccup was due to network issues and not software. I have seen this only once. I think i will test more, wireless and wired.
