I saw that native Plex support is planned for Infuse. Please also add native Emby support.

I always wanted to use Plex. But I think Emby is a better solution:
- Emby seems to respect privacy more than Plex.
- Emby is mostly open source: GitHub - MediaBrowser/Emby: Emby Server is a personal media server with apps on just about every device.
- You don’t need to have an Emby-account; internal authentication by default!
- Emby devs seem to listen more to the user.

Hell, if this were offered as an in-app buy add-on I’d pay for it. Somewhere between 1 and 19$. Easily. I’d rather have Infuse be great at playing media and Emby be great at Metadata.

+1, would love to see native Emby support. I could be totally wrong, but the API structure may be similar, as Plex copied most of their Kodi sync functionality from Emby.
I now use Emby and pretty happy with it. I will not renew my subscription to infuse that I do not use anymore. The emby app is cool but I would prefer to have my collections in infuse.
Hope this support gets added in the future.
Yes, please add native Emby support; reaching the Emby server over upnp works but is slow!

+1 on this also. I recently decided to look into what Emby can do and while it has some rough edges, it’s somewhat more flexible in some ways than Plex Server is. Plex integration was essential for me to go in on Infuse but having an alternative would be a very welcome option to keep an eye on.

until this i have to use the emby app,
with a big movie collection is it not nice to wait so long until a new movie is in the libary.
