NAS DS 211j streaming doesn't work

Hi everyone,

I have a atv2 JB with firecore 0.7 Beta running. If I stream from my iMac the media player works like a charm. If I stream from my NAS (Synology DS 211j) via AFP I can watch movie files only for a few minutes before the atv2 suddenly reboots. I tried smb too, with same result. Somehow it must be the interplay between NAS and atv.

Any suggestions?

Having the exact same problem with my atv2/ds207. All movies will crash, sometimes after 2 mins, sometimes after 30 mins or so. Im using SMB but i dont think smb or afp will make any difference

Hmm, can you submit a bug report so we can look into what’s going on?
