I’ve attached a USB hard drive for playback of films & music files. This is my preferred way of accessing my media collection which is completely stored on the drive as it saves me from continuously having to load up iTunes on my iMac and then streaming to ATV. It mounts OK and I can access the drive in Media/collections & Files/places, but whereas the the film & DVD files play without fault (apart from the ones with no ATV support), the CDs only play one at a time…literally. I select an album and it will play the first track and stop until I manually select the next track and so on. It will not play right through an album non stop. Am I missing something here? I’ve been through settings but nothing seems to help. I need to get this sorted before I set up the NAS drive that will be arriving soon.
OK! I’ve fixed it. I said I must be missing something and it was the simple thing of not right clicking on the album title which opened up another menu, and I just needed to select “play folder”. Doh!!
