I was under the impression that Infuse now supports multiple versions of a movie, even when working with Plex/Jellyfin etc.
I’m running Jellyfin with direct mode and the two movies I have multiple versions of (mutiple resolutions in one case, multiple cuts in the other) just show one version or the other… Jellyfin recognizes the versions fine so I can pick them in the web UI… but nothing on appletv infuse. Is it just me? Anything I could have messed up in naming or settings?
If these are merged together in Jellyfin (or Emby/Plex) you can long-press on the Play button to choose which version to play.
Yeah, thanks, I also had the setting off for not picking between versions on startup. Somehow I was expecting a choice on the page of the movie, when I had multiple cuts and not just multiple resolutions.
Please also consider this feedback that the system for picking between multiple versions/cuts feels kludgy and unattractive. I hope this and the extras is something you can tackle next, now that the appletv GUI seems to be sorted again.
