@james are you exploring to add this feature already and it’s just taking time to implement it well?
my interest in this feature would be having watched or unwatched for a particular genre. hopefully if the implementation is open ended/flexible, and watched status is in the list of mergeable filters- my use case will just be naturally supported.

I’m am desperate for two UI features on the Apple TV…
With many videos in a “folder” PLUS how painful it is to change the sort order… I need to easily and quickly change the sort order AND show/not-show watched videos.
I’ll be happy to get an awful UI decision that quickly allows me to at least change the sort order from/to date/name AND add a quick toggle to show/not-show videos marked as watched. I know there’s no great UI for this, but I’d gladly accept: press and hold on a video to add these two toggles to the otherwise just do X for this video (e.g. make “mark as watched” a toggle, add these two toggles, and make “playlists and collections” it’s own sub-menu.
the moderator merged the ‘above’ into this topic. Yep, it’s “related”, but very different – I am desperate for a UI to do QUICK filtering/sorting changes within a list of videos rather than by going back to the settings!
