Multiple accounts "leaking"

I’ve setup Jellyfin connection on my Apple profile, with my credentials and it’s all good.

I would like to setup my partner on their Apple profile, and supposedly Infuse accounts, including shares, should be separate, but I when I open Infuse on their profile: I can see my own Jellyfin credentials.

I changed those, thinking that maybe it’s cached from the past, but sure enough: editing share on their account “leaked” over to mine.

How do I go about having separate shares setup on our Infuse profiles please/

This may be related to a system bug which has appeared for some users when updating to tvOS 26. The only way to fix this would be to perform a factory restore.

@james can you provide any more diagnostic process of information? This has been bouncing around for a while and it doesn’t seem like everyone has been fixed by a factory reset. Spending a half day reconfiguring an AppleTV and all the logins is a lot to ask for a “maybe” fix.

I had this after updating to 26.0 and had to do a factory reset. That fully fixed it. Now it randomly came back and the only solution seems another factory reset? Or is this something in Infuse its implementation? It has updated automatically in between, but from 26.x to 26.x. It’s the only app with this issue.

It’s quite a hassle to reinstall everything, and if it happens all the time, I’m not interested.

This is probably related to a (second) system bug Apple introduced on tvOS 26.4.

They will have a fix available in an upcoming version of tvOS and you can follow this threads for update.
