+1 to this. Not a big fan of having to manually mark episodes on Trakt because Infuse can’t see that there are multiple episodes in the filename

Is there any workarounds for this? I have tonnes of episodes like this ( usually the first multipart special ) which is technically two episodes. Not really there by choice and splitting it would create weirdness in where the split is since its only really a single episode.
Looks like putting a plus between the numbers works.
Sounds like you found a nice solution, could you please make an example for one or two file names so other users can use it as a type of orientation

I tried underscore, ampersand, period, dash, the word “and” and a few others before I got to plus.

This only works when you name the episode like 1x1+x2.
If you use S01E01+E02… It won’t work.
I haven’t found a renamer or manager that can rename multi episodes (in 1 file) in the 1x1+x2 format.
I couldn’t find one either. I just went to my tv shows folder and searched for filenames with " & " and group renamed that pattern to “+”.

The pluses only cause Infuse to list the first episode.
All I cared about was that the file would sort into the correct location. I don’t actually care if it shows the dual episodes, I just want to not have to manually move it out of “other”, and for it to play at the correct time when I am watching the show.
I did the same… infuse puts not recognized files in “OTHER” library… I looked there and manually renamed the episodes that where in there… after that the “OTHER” was empty.
Finally something positive to announce.

For the purpose of listing the files I use simpler method that was either proposed here or somewhere on the infuse website and was supposed to be the one that would get recognized in a later update (plus, filebot can rename it that way, but it was a 2-step method I had to use. I believe first the plex multiple episodes format and from that into this one).

I wonder if we could just add just interim support so they are not skipped and added to ‘other’. These + methods seem to be a weird bug than an actual useful method, somehow making it ignore the second episode.
Perhaps even a simple addition of just adding it as episode 1 for now, then later hopefully official support?
I mean this has been brewing for 9 years at this point and it isn’t even that weird of a functionality. Shows will be continue to be made in this multi episode format and its not reasonable to expect people to split every one.
Just wanted to bump this to show support for it! Multi episode file naming would be super clutch!

+1 for this one. I’ve an episode that is splitted into 2 files, Plex supports “sXeX - pt1” and “sXeX - pt2” but it’s not possible to play the second part with Infuse (clicked the like button of the first post 
)
