A lot of movies had this problem

If you run it on another player or on the iPhone, there is no problem

@james

:grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin::grin:

I have to ask, but do you have both of the Match Content options enabled?

If they are both on and the issue is still present would you be able to upload a sample video we can test here?

@james Yes enable Match Dynamic Range or Match Frame Rate

I will try to upload the video tomorrow Because of its large size

@james I could not upload the file due to the large size of the file, and my uploading is bad and slow

You can clip out few minutes of the video and upload that instead of having to send the entire thing.

Just be sure to test the sample to ensure it shows the same issue.

More info on doing this can be found here.

The problem is when cutting the clip. . Quality is affected

Not if you follow the steps in the guide linked above.

@james The problem has been resolved

The solution: when you turn off an option
Match Dynamic Range

The colors of the film appear beautifully if the content is 4K HDR

But when you turn it on, the colors become bad

Does stopping it affect the quality of other films? Are there any problems when stopping it? Or speed of movement?

What do you advise me ? Why do the colors become bad when turned on in Dynamic Range some movies?

Which mode (HDR, SDR, etc…) is the Apple TV in when the picture looks correct?

Do you have HDR10+ enabled on this Apple TV? It doesn’t look like that model TV supports HDR10+, so if it is enabled then it may cause playback issues when playing HDR10+ content like this video.

Apple TV latest version 3rd generation 128GB

And the latest update is TVOS 17

It supports HDR10+ and HDR

Sorry, I meant the TV itself may not support HDR10+…just regular HDR10.

If you have HDR10+ enabled on the Apple TV then I would try and disable that.

It could also be related to an HDMI cable issue, so disabling HDR10+ would allow you to test that as well.

The TV supports HDR10+
Tried turning it on or off

All experiments have been done

Do you know what video output mode the Apple TV is in when the output is correct (when Match Content is disabled)?

Do you know what video output mode the device is switching to when it is incorrect (when Match Content is enabled)?

I didn’t understand . . Do you mean quality?

When the Match Content options are on, the Apple TV will adjust the video output (Dynamic Range and Frame rate) to match the video which is being played.

If having these options on is leading to issues for you, then it’s possible the output mode the Apple TV is switching to is not compatible with the device(s) connected to the Apple TV. This could be caused by any link in your pipeline (EG HDMI cable, TV, AV receiver, or other devices in use).

To isolate the cause and troubleshoot further, it would be helpful to know.

  1. What output mode the Apple TV is set to in the Video and Audio Settings (IE 4K SDR)
  2. Does disabling the HDR10+ option on the Apple TV have any effect?
  3. Does enabling Frame Rate matching but keeping Dynamic Range matching off have any effect?

the situation
4k sdr 60
Even when I put it in 4k HDR (HDR10+) the problem persists

Also, matching the tires when they are turned off or on does not make any difference

The problem is only when dynamic mode is on
