mount airport disk on ATV2 (silver)

hello

I have a USB disk attached to my Time Capsule. the protection is set to “device password” . I can access that disk from Macs and iPads, without problem

I have tried to mount the disk on my ATV2(silver), using the Nito Network options (as described on this site) . My only difference  is that I do not give a username, but only the password (as it works on the other machines)

It fails … as soon as I try to mount the disk , i get an error message and I am asked to reboot the ATV.

What I am doing wrong ? what should I test ? any ideas ? thanks

p.

I found out that you must have the disk mounted on the TC with permission set by account. Thus when using the Nito Network options, with username /password. The disk mounts OK

Now NitoTV (and ATV) freeze when I try to access it… Any ideas ?

ps: my disk was previously attached to the ATV, so I am sure it can be read . Other machines on the network can see it
