Mixing up all my movies in different folders

Any suggestions here? I’ve asked Firecore but they stopped replying when they asked and I explained my problem below.

The problem I have is when I add folders to my Home Screen. Such as: Action, Drama, Horror, Sci-fi etc. I have lots of movies in each category which all look correct for a while. Then they all get mixed up, for example, when I click on horror, it ends up containing just 1 movie, not from that genre. When before it was correct and had 100 horror movies in it. All my folders end up being mixed up and don’t contain the right, or sometimes any movies at all.
I have to delete all the folders, then re-add each of them from my NAS drive so they show the correct films again. It stays ok for a while and then does the same thing, losing all my movies or mixing everything in the folders. It’s happening on 3/3 of my devices: Apple TV 4K 2nd & 3rd Gen, iPhone 13 Pro Max.

No quite certain based upon what you’ve said so far. I also have all my movies on a NAS and the folder structure is below. Infuse on my ATV 4k is pointed to the “movies” folder and connects to it via smb. The icons for the folders show first with the non-foldered movies right below them. Clicking on any of the folder icons reveal all the movies within that folder. Note: I don’t use Library mode in Infuse.

Do you know the connection type you are using to connect to the NAS?

If you’re using something like UPnP or DLNA this can potentially lead to issues as instead having direct access to the video files, Infuse gets a generated list of content from the server which can change over time. This means there may be a delay before the full file list is available if content is added, removed, or moved on the server.
