Mixing Maigret 2016 and 2025

Hi guys,

I am having problems with 2 tvshows, Maigret 2016 and Maigret 2025. Infuse (in library mode) seems to mix them up. I tried everything, pinting them teh correct metadata atc. When i do, in filemode, everything looks fine. But in library mode they mix up. When i change MAigret 2025 to the correct metadat, it shows all under Maigret and all episodes show under Maigret 2025, when i change the metadata for the show from 2016 they all show up under Maigret 2016. Weird behavior.

Anyone know a solution…. Again, in filemode (browse) everything seems fine, just not in library mode.

I did it on macos, and tvos…. same behavior.

Can you provide a screen cap of how you have the files names for each?

Its not the curly braces that give the problem, i guess, since for Magnum and other shows i dont have that problem and they are named in teh same way.

I just did a quick test and it should work if you place the year between the series name and the S0xE0x in the episode file names. It work great for me just now.

Wow, that actually did it… lol.

Still weird, why it doesn give problems with the other same named tvshows. This means i have to do rename on all my tvshows, since the year is only in the top Folder name. Not in the files.

Glad it worked! Adding the year in Mac is really pretty quick with the rename function. Just highlight all of the episodes and associated files that have the episode name then do “Find & Replace” Maigret S0 with Maigret 2025 S0.

lol… i have 1000’s of tvshows…. i’ll just make a bash script for it…. it’ll do it in seconds….
