I have just updated to to 4.4.4 and installed firecore. Is there meant to be a trailer option under the Movie Menu. I have ‘in theaters’ but was under the impression that there should be a trailers option also.
can anyone confirm please.

They are the same thing. Its been redesigned by Apple and 4.4.4 takes advantage. It used to be just a single Alphabetical List, now its grouped into a variety of different Genres as well as recently added or by popularity. Having 2 separate ATV’s I can confirm the revised view certainly lists more films now than previously so I am assuming it might be a different source.
