Missing main folder covers for TV shows in Favorite/Folder view (NAS Share)

Hi everyone,

I’m using Infuse Pro 8.4.8 on my Apple TV 4K 3rd gen (tvOS 26.5) and accessing my media directly via a favorite share pointing to my NAS Downloads folder. I prefer navigating through my folders directly rather than using the Library view.

I’ve noticed a strange behavior with TV show covers in this folder view and was wondering if someone could explain why this happens or if there’s a setting I missed.

For some TV shows, the main show folder displays the full poster artwork perfectly. But for other shows, the main folder just shows a generic gray folder icon - even though once I click inside the folder, Infuse correctly recognizes all the seasons and shows their respective season covers fine.

Why do some show folders get a cover artwork on the top level while others stay as a generic gray folder icon? Is there a way to make Infuse consistently display the series cover for the top-level show folder in this view?

Often it’s due to mislabeled files and or how the folders are named and set up.

Could you provide a screen cap of your expanded directory for the series Paradise to help answer your questions?
