Missing Episode

My tv shows are setup using Video_TS folders.

I just noticed this, but on Disc 4 season 1 and 2 of the Knick, the last episode is missing. I checked on my computer and it plays fine on my computer contains both episodes. So I’m confused why infuse won’t recongize the episode.

Anybody have this problem?

Are the last two episodes possibly a single file like they do when they air two episodes back to back on the same day? Check the duration time on the last episode you see.

That was one the first things I did and the folder on infuse shows 44 minutes and on my computer is 130 minutes.

You may try selecting one of the different ‘Titles’ available on the disc (VIDEO_TS), to see if this allows you to get the correct episode.

To do this, simply select the Title option from the Video tab of the Playback Menu (swipe down while a video is playing).

James,

I tried that fix as well but I appreciate your suggestion. It’s strange that season 1 and 2 have the same issue on Disc 4 missing that last episode. I’ll continue to play with it to see if I come up with something.

Upon further investigation, it looks like there is missing episodes in every season. For example, Mr. Robot season 2 disc 2 is only 66 minutes and on my computer 180 minutes… I having missing episodes on Seinfeld disc 4 season 1 as well. Something is going with Video_TS folders that I cannot figure out. It’s a bummer.

In General, DVD files are divided into different ‘Titles’ and the duration you see in Infuse may only reflect one of those titles. This is one shortcoming of using VIDEO_TS format for TV shows, as Infuse does not currently have a great way to organize and display info for single videos that contain multiple episodes.

What do you see when you navigate to the Video tab and select ‘Title’?

James,

It’s just so strange that it happens with one disc out of a season. This is from the “The Knick” season 1 disc 4. As you can see in the image, Title 2 and Title 4 are missing.
