Missing artwork in folder view

Hello,

I have organised my media library using the following folder structure:

For movies:
MovieName/
└── MovieName.mkv

For TV shows:
SeriesName/
└── Season 01/
└── SeriesName - S01E02.mkv

When I navigate into a specific season folder, all episode artwork is displayed correctly. Likewise, when I open a movie folder, the movie artwork is shown correctly.

However, on the parent level where I see the list of season folders (for TV shows) or movie folders (for movies), only the default folder icons are displayed instead of the corresponding poster/cover art.

This behaviour is new. Until recently, poster artwork was displayed correctly for those folders as well.

I have already cleared all metadata and rebuilt the library from scratch, but the problem persists.

Has anyone experienced this issue before, or is there anything I can do to restore the folder artwork display?

Thanks in advance.

What device are you seeing this on and what version number of Infuse?

Also are you set for grid view or list?

I am running the latest version of Infuse (8.4.7). The issue occurs consistently across all of my devices (Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV), with iCloud Sync enabled on each of them. The behavior is identical everywhere. Grid view is what I am using.

Even after disabling iCloud-Sync, deleting all metadata and rebuilding the library from scratch again, the problem persists. This is really annoying.
Is there an option to clear the cache completely?

Further analysis suggests that this behavior may have been introduced in version 8.4.7.

It appears that a folder is only assigned the correct artwork when the media files are stored directly within that folder. Parent folders, even when they are part of the same TV series or movie hierarchy, are displayed without artwork and instead show the default folder icon.
