This issue also applies to other umlauts like “ae” → “ä” and “oe” → “ö.”
Proposed Solution:
- Language Detection: Implement a language detection mechanism to identify German-language file names and apply specific rules for transliteration handling.
- Automatic Character Mapping: Introduce an algorithm that maps transliterations (e.g., “ue” → “ü”) during metadata queries to match database entries accurately.
