I have changed the Settings > Language > Metadata option to the original language, and also manually edited the metadata and selected the language as the original language, but my Better Call Saul’s cover posters and logos are still in Chinese. In previous versions, it was possible to set posters, logos, information, etc. in the original language based on the language of different movies. Please fix this bug. Thank you.
Did you also change the Settings > Language > Artwork ?
Another thing to check, make sure you don’t have artwork located in the same directory and/or make sure your settings are
Prefer Embedded Artwork > Off
Prefer Local Artwork > Off
I changed the metadata option under Settings > Language to Auto, and then the cover option also automatically switched to Auto. After manually refreshing the metadata, there’s a chance that both the cover and metadata become English, but there’s also a chance they become Chinese. This issue didn’t exist in previous versions. I’m not sure if it’s a bug caused by some changes to the metadata and cover options.
What exactly are you wanting?
Do you want the artwork to be in the original language?
Do you want the metadata to be in the original language or what you have set for the device under apples settings?
I want both artwork and metadata to be in the original language
