Mega won’t connect

I submitted a support ticket but I can’t log into MEGA it just says waiting on authorization

Just in case you haven’t seen the users guide that may help.

I’m having the same issue, on both my MacBook Pro and iPhone - when I try to log on to Mega it just says waiting on authorization. Any tips or plans to fix? Thanks.

I’m experiencing the same issue on my iPhone and iPad. When I try to log in to MEGA, it just says “Waiting for authorization”. Has anyone found a solution yet? I’m happy to provide any additional information if needed.

I can’t stream some files from Mega. If I download the file and play it through Infuse, it works, but when I try to stream it wouldn’t work. I tried the speed test and download in both cases download speed and file size is 0. Initially it was just a file every once in a while but it keeps happening more and more now. It happens on iPhone, MacBook and Apple TV. What can I provide to debug and help solve this?

Just a guess on my part but I’d suggest that you send in a diagnostic report right after you get that error message and then post the 5 digit code here in the thread.

I happened to solve this problem by clearing the session history in Settings → Security in the MEGA dashboard and then logging in again through Infuse. It was probably a stuck login attempt.

Thanks for sharing this. We have been looking into a few reports with MEGA connections that have popped up recently.

A set of improvements for MEGA connections is available in today’s 8.4.2 update. :slight_smile:
