Media app won't fetch metadata for 'long' filenames

I have a feature request for the way the Media app handles metadata.

For instance, in my Movies folder, there's a file called: Carnage.2011.LIMITED.720p.BluRay.x264-SPARKS.mkv

My AppleTV won't recognize that this is the movie Carnage (2011) by Roman Polanski.  Can you please implement a fix that will allow the software to recognize movies with such a long file name and assign the correct metadata (maybe even by selecting from multiple options in a list, perhaps ... like with the 'reload metadata' option)?

(You might ask: why don't you just rename the file to 'Carnage (2011)' then? Well, this would screw up my torrent client as I'm seeding it to a private tracker, and I don't want to waste valuable disk space by duplicating all my movies).

Hope you'll consider this.

Thanks in advance.

Sorry about that - I’ll see if we can get that fixed.
