Just a quick request… Since the 4.1 update infuse has been a great little app… Unfortunately it still doesn’t deal with TV Shows live Marvels agents of S.H.I.E.L.D very well… I still have to rename everything… Eg
Infuse messes this series up here as well. My folder name is ‘Marvels Agents of S H I E L D’ since adding dots messes things up on a folder/file/os level. Underneath the folder are folders named ‘Season 1’ etc. Episode filenames also do say S H I E L D and not S.H.I.E.L.D. e.g. ‘Marvel Agents of S H I E L D.S07E01.Title.1080p.Web-DL.H.264.mkv’ etc.
Infuse shows this series as one big folder with all 100+ episodes at the same time. How can i make Infuse show this correctly?
(Note that there isn’t a “.” after the D in shield on the folder name and only a single space between the D in the file name and the “S0” for season number."
After you change the file names and folder names you may have to do and edit metadata on one of the episodes and re-select the correct series to get Infuse to update the series.
No i’m on the latest, but i didn’t want to start a new thread. Will try your naming convention, but i don’t like the missing dot after the D and the start of the Series/Episodes part. All my file names are standardized to seriesname.SxxEyy.episodename.resolution.encoding.sound.extension so all parts are separated by dots. Want to keep it that way for this as well. Will try some things out.
On the actual file names you may be able to use the dot after the “D” as long as you don’t add an additional space after that.
“Marvels Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.S01E01.mkv”
I’m pretty sure that Infuse will see the dot as a space anyway so as long as you don’t add a space after the dot and double up what Infuse sees as spaces you should be fine. The main series folder may be an issue though. I had to try multiple changes a while back to find what worked for me. and I don’t recall if the Folder name worked with a dot after the D.
The biggest thing is don’t forget you may need to do an edit metadata after you change the names and re-select the correct series again to get Infuse to update.
BEFORE YOU CHANGE ANYTHING
I just re-read your first post and noticed that you had
It should be “Marvels” with a “S” not “Marvel”
Don’t know if you made a typo in your first post or if you copied and pasted it. If you have the files named that way it could be the whole problem.
Was a typo. In fact, just changing the upper level series name to S.H.I.E.L.D (with the dots) was enough to make infuse grab everything correctly and using season folders with the correct files, so problem solved
