No, but it crashes my ATV and boots in loops without starting up, so I would not recommend it:(

Is there a solution?  My machine reboots and loops too.

I did a complete restore (unjailbreak) in iTunes
updated atv to newest fw (5.1.1) did new jailbreak and
New flash install and that works!

How do I accomplish that feat?

Connect atv with usb only (not power plug) restore with iTunes and then: How to jailbreak Apple TV 2 5.0.2 (iOS 5.1.1) using Seas0nPass (untethered) did it for me:)

This is unacceptable, we should not have to take such action just to do a maintenance updated.

I am surprise that firecore has let this slip by and still have not fixed it.

If they dont fix this, beware of the new 2.0 version…
