Mac Version of Infuse Shows Error When Playing Emby Library Content

I’m encountering a rather perplexing issue while using the Mac version of Infuse to play content from my Emby library, and I’m hoping someone here can offer some assistance or insights.

Here’s a detailed description of the problem:

  1. Error Message: Every time I attempt to play a video from my Emby library on the Mac version of Infuse, I get an error message that says, “An error occurred: An error occurred while loading this content.” This completely prevents me from watching any videos.

  2. Version and Subscription: I’m using the latest version of Infuse and have an active Infuse PRO subscription. Interestingly, when I use the same account on Apple TV, Infuse works perfectly fine for playing content from the Emby library.

  3. Network and Access: My VPN is functioning properly, and I can access my Emby library to view the inventory without any issues. This confirms that my network connection and access permissions are intact. However, as soon as I try to play any video from the library, the error message appears.

  4. Other Content Playback: I also tested playing videos from other sources, such as my Alibaba Cloud Drive, and those work flawlessly on the Mac version of Infuse. This leads me to suspect that the issue might be related to compatibility between Infuse and the Emby library, or perhaps some specific handling of the Emby library in the Mac version.

I’ve been using Infuse on Apple TV to play content from my Emby library without any problems for a long time. This sudden playback error on the Mac version is quite frustrating. I’m hoping someone here might have encountered a similar issue or knows how to resolve it. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
