I moved your post to a currently running thread discussing this issue. Note it’s tagged as “pending”.
Thanks @NC_Bullseye, promise I did try to search for a duplicate before posting. Thanks for the work you do to keep things uncluttered, legend.
This is a reproducible issue on macOS.
After searching for the episodes, the content of the multi-server query cannot be displayed.
Only the episodes found on the first server are shown. If I click to enter the episode homepage found on the first server and then exit the episode homepage, all episodes from the search across all servers will be displayed.
However, if there are no relevant episodes on the first server, and not a single one is found, I cannot click to exit, and therefore, the search results from all servers cannot be displayed.
As shown in the picture below, on the main screen, there is a horizontal bar at the top of the episodes even if I don’t search for anything. If I perform a search, the same horizontal bar appears without a multi-server button. Only after clicking into an episode and then exiting does the content above the bar appear. For example, the word ‘Main Screen’ should be displayed at the top of the image.
This issue is likely unrelated to the software’s language settings, as the problem persists even when I switch to English.
I’m getting this on Infuse 7.8.2 running on the Sequoia 15.0 RC that should be public tomorrow. Happy to run any tests if it helps.
I’m getting this as well with Infuse 7.8.2 (7.8.4948) after upgrading to macOS 15.
I nuked the install with the freeware AppCleaner to get all of the preferences and whatnot. After reinstallation, it’s better but still not fixed. Typically it’s messed up on launch, but going into and then back from a movie fixes it, where it stayed broken before.
I reinstalled too after deleting every reference to firecore/infuse I could find on my mac and now I have the same thing (no top bar at launch but appears after navigating a movie or show). This is with the latest version now too which I didn’t have when I first posted.
I have what seems to be the same issue on macOS 15.0 with Infuse 7.8.3
The top bar is nowhere to be found until I go into a movie and come back to the Home Screen. I wanted to reorganize the sections on my Home Screen the other day and just couldn’t find the button to do it because the bar was gone.
Having same issue macOS 15.0
Still having the issue now with macOS 15.0.1 and Infuse 8.0.4991
Has anyone else noticed the ‘Home’ title bar is missing when you initially launch the app on Mac OS? You can get it to come back by going into a movie details screen for example and then come back. It’s been doing it for the last 3 beta versions I think.
I moved your post to a thread discussing this issue.
Thank you
Must admit I’m surprised this issue isn’t getting a little more focus, I can re-create this issue at will on any MacOS 15.x machine with the new version. For me, the re-fresh button is important, as another bug appears to be that auto re-fresh isn’t reliable.
Anyone using this for the first time, would fire up Infuse v8, not see any new video files updating, and have no menu item to refresh. Probably not the best first use situation.
I’m having the same issue since sometime last week. I’m on macOS Beta 15.1 and Infuse version 8 and the Home top bar is missing. The only way for me to get the Home top bar back is being going to a file and then back to Home and the option shows.
Missing nav bar, or header. I have to click something to render a new item page, then the missing header will be back.
This issue has been found on my mac (and reported) for more than one year, and I cannot believe it’s still there after the major update to 8.
If there’s anything unclear in my explanation, could the forum staff please let me know? What does it mean when no one replies to me at all? This issue is clearly just a display bug, is it really that difficult to fix? What makes me even more frustrated is that no forum staff or developer has responded to me, and it’s already been more than a month.
The biggest problem now is that cross server search is not possible!!! Although there are ways to avoid this bug, I hope it can be resolved as soon as possible!!!
Really sorry about that! I can’t make excuses but keep in mind this is a user supported forum so often when one user has an issue others will also experience the same and chime in. I personally have no way of replicating your set up with multiple servers and beta OS so I was hoping someone who can would add to the discussion.
Also with several updates since your first post (some major ones included) have you updated to the most current 8.0.1?
Are you using the free version of Infuse or do you have a subscription?
Again, sorry for the delay.
If you have multiple servers connected you can select which to search clicking the desired server name in top header bar.
There is a bug related to macOS 15 that can appear in certain cases which may cause the header bar to be hidden under certain conditions. We are working to resolve this, but a quick workaround is to navigate inside a video’s details page and back out. Doing this usually allows the header bar to appear.
