figured i’d share my experience with this…
i tried out the m2ts file playback tonight.
i had to rename the files with a m2ts extension for the media player to find them (they are saved as .mts by the camera).
the video is 1440x1080 interlaced DD 5.1.
playback was so choppy that it was unwatchable.
hope you continue to work on supporting m2ts/mts AVCHD video as I hate to have to convert my entire library.
