There is like 530 posts on that thread, I can’t read all that! 
Even the instructions on the page the link takes me too is difficult for me to comprehend. As it says in my first post on the thread I gave a link to I need very detailed, very clear, step by step instructions due to my Autism. I was hoping someone might take the time and effort to help me out and do something like this for me.
I also have a Mac, the video in that link is done on Windows if that makes any difference…
All you need is the first post.
If you don’t have a windows computer and can’t follow the first post have someone do it for you. I cannot rewrite instructions that are already simple.

Untethered, the one that doesn’t require the ATV2 to be connected to my Mac to start if it gets switched off. I don’t know anyone with a Windows computer either…
Those instructions sound pretty good, but I stumble at the point where it says I need a Windows computer.
But watching that video made my head hurt…
Why don’t you use 5.0 jailbreak? Easy,simple,works great.
Isn’t that tethered though?

I’d prefer untethered. Is there an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0 for the ATV2?
Looking around, there isn’t an untethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0 and I have no hope in Jailbreaking 4.4.4 because all the methods for this process require Windows. I literally know 4 people (and two of them are my mum and sister) and they all have Macs.
I should have just went on eBay and paid over the odds for one already Jailbroken with XBMC and everything installed. 
So how far away is an untethered iOS 5.0 jailbreak?
