I’m trying to set up Infuse so that it can see the video files I have in a Google Drive folder.
But Infuse seems to require access, with full editing and deletion permissions, to my entire Google Drive, including my email and all the personal data which lives outside my “Films” folder.
Is there a way to grant Infuse permission to access only a single folder on my Google Drive?
Once I have added my google drive, I can choose which folders to add to favorites, but by then it’s also too late: Infuse has then already been given permission to access all the files on the whole drive, not just the ones I want it to see, right? Or am I missing something?
You can’t access a folder on Google Drive to give permission until you log into google drive. The Favorite you choose will be the only one available to view unless you go back to the share and add another in settings.
So there is no way to restrict Infuse to a single folder on the Google Drive? I must give Infuse all-or-nothing access to the entire drive, including all my email, photos and other personal files and data? With Dropbox, I can limit Infuse to only the folders I wish to share… is there a similar ability with Google?
I have no idea how google drive works but it looks like on their website that sharing restrictions are part of their “premium” package but I’m not sure.
However, it’s going to be a function of Google Drive to be where you set restrictions from what I can tell just glancing through their docs.
