On my iPhone and iPad, if I launch Infuse and it starts scanning automatically, or if I hit the scan icon in the upper right to manually start a scan, and it takes too long (i.e. Home screen doesn’t update) I’ll go to Settings > Library to find that it is stuck on “Pending.” Clicking on “Scan for Changes” immediately restarts the scan which is then successful. This happens more than half the time a scan is started (either automatically or manually). This has been happening for a while (several weeks at least so over multiple releases). I do not have this issue on macOS or tvOS.
This may be related to rate limits imposed by iCloud.
We are working on quite a few improvements for iCloud syncing for the next update which could help with what you are seeing here.
I have iCloud Sync (Settings > Sync) off if that is what you are referring to.
I’m on 8.1.4 now and still experiencing this. Again, I don’t even have iCloud Sync enabled (on any of my devices) and I don’t have this issue on macOS or tvOS.
