Kind of Atmos or?

Hi forum. I have my Apple TV hooked up for my Sennheiser ambeo soundbar. As we all know apple doesn’t support HD sound and therefor I have a shield. I just hate the shield.

My question is what sound do I get? If my Apple TV is set for lpcm and that’s the signal my ambeo gets, does my ambeo then upscales for atmos “like” sound?

Or is it just a 7.1 signal I get?

You get 7.1 unless your soundbar can do upconverting. It’ll be in the documentation for your soundbar.

Yup -thats why it would be nice if any ambeo owners had an answer:)
