what could i be doing wrong?
before i put atvflashblack on my atv2's, I had xbmc working fine...
Now every few mins xbmc will crash when playing a avi file over my hardrive>smb>macbook...
What did I do wrong..
I was getting a similar problem with both Music and Video in XBMC until I refused the latest Apple TV update. Now that iOS 4.3 is out (v4.2.1 of Appe TV firmware) I think that checking for the software to prompt you if you want to install it may be causing the problem.
It is possible, therefore, that the issue is nothing to do with having installed the aTV Flash beta, but just an unfortunate timing issue that you doing that co-incided with Apple making new firmware available.
go to NitoTV, select install software, install UpdateBeGone.
