Longtime Infuse Pro subscriber and have been using Infuse on iOS to connect to a Jellyfin server for a year super smoothly. I have playlists in Jellyfin that Infuse shows/loads. Until earlier this week, I could click on a piece of media, see what playlists it was added to, and tap to add or remove it from a playlist. The app showed a checkmark for playlists the media was in and removed those checkmarks when removing and added them when adding to a playlist. Earlier this week that stopped working. I’ve updated the app, restarted my phone, removed the app and reinstalled, and nothing works. This is a core functionality that is now broken.
I’m on Infuse Pro 8.2.3 (5315) and Jellyfin 10.10.7 on a Synology via Container Manager. iOS is version 18.6.2. Nothing changed in my Jellyfin or Synology installs. This was a change that occurred purely in Infuse and nothing I do restores the simple functionality of the checkmarks for playlist management.
Anyone have suggestions, tips, or fixes? Any way to roll back to a prior version of the app to see if that fixes it? I just want this playlist management back. Thanks!
I’ve never used that plugin before and didn’t need it for the functionality to work. Why would this suddenly be required for a basic function to work?
Anyway, I just installed it (version 1.5.1.0) on Jellyfin, deleted and reinstalled the iOS app, enabled the InfuseSync plugin when adding the Jellyfin library, and allowed everything to fetch/pull artwork/etc. Nothing has changed. When going back to the home screen and attempting to add media to playlists, the checkmarks do not appear at all.
For further detail, if I try to create a new playlist I am able to do that and it shows up in the list of playlists both in the iOS app and on the Jellyfin server as well (the XML file for the playlist shows the file I attempted to add).
The issue is the iOS app does not show the checkmarks anymore. This is clearly a bug in the iOS app that should be fixed by Firecore.
Glad I’m not the only one. Hopefully this will help get the issues fixed when there is another update. Are you using Jellyfin for your library? iOS or android?
