I’ve just updated from ATV 2.3 to 2.3.1 and from ATV flash 3.4.8 to 3.5.1. Everything seems to be fine after following some success stories on this forum, but there’s one thing that I’ve noticed is different. I have an external HD connected to the Apple TV where I drop all of my movie files instead of using iTunes to sync so that I have can have a large library of 500Gb. I’m not sure if I did something wrong when updating to v3.5.1, but in iTunes under the summary tab of my Apple TV it used to show the amount of space available/used on the external hd because it thought it was the Apple TV’s internal drive. However, now it only shows the 40Gb internal Apple TV drive’s information. I can still drop files via FTP to the external HD and I can view the files through Sapphire without a problem. It’s not a big deal, but I’m just wondering has anyone else noticed this? Or, should I have backed up my external drive, reinitialized it, then copied the media back over, and followed the terminal commands for ssh again when I updated?
After updating to 3.5.1, did you re-do Smart Installer and re-do this too?

After any aTV Flash update, you usually have to re-do these special hacks.
