Currently, Infuse does not support switching episodes during playback.
For media libraries formed by Emby and WebDAV, there is no recognition of opening or closing sequences. When a TV series episode ends, the button for the next episode does not appear, forcing me to manually drag the progress bar to play the next episode. Many users on the forum have also reported the lack of a feature to select the previous or next episode.
When I want to revisit exciting scenes from the previous episode, such as intense fights or debates, I have to exit playback and reselect the episode from the poster page.
This process is highly inconvenient and wastes a lot of time. I hope a feature to select episodes can be added to the playback page, which would simultaneously resolve both of the aforementioned issues.
If you’re unsure how to implement this, YouTube provides the best demonstration. This feature is extremely important, and I sincerely hope to see it implemented by 2025.
