Issue with such HDR HDTV movies

I have a problem reading UHD HDR content on Infuse.

If I run a 4K HDR movie, no problem (I have the HDR logo on my Samsung TV).
If I run a 4K HDTV record (MPEG-TS format, HDR10), I do not have the HDR logo. HDR is on if I directly play the video on the TV with the Samsung player.

I don’t get where the problem is coming from … Any idea ?

Are you sure that it is HDR10? Since its source is TV its likely HLG (hybrid log gamma) as this is the HDR standard for television while HDR10 is for streaming and discs.

Please post mediainfo of said file.

I guess it is HDR10…

Hi James,

Any news about the files ?

Quick update.

We’ve worked to add better support for HDR (HLG) videos, and plan to have these changes available in the upcoming 5.8.2 update.

Thanks for your patience.
