Hi, new user here. Loving the app so far! My only issue comes from the new windowing mode in iPadOS26. Essentially when I have Infuse split viewed with another app (tested with safari and Reddit) and Interact with the other window the little 3 dot windowing icon will appear on the infuse window blocking playback for my video. (Source is from plex, if it matters)
an easy way to test it is to click the back button on safari that seems to always make the dots appear on the infuse video. (Again they are split viewed, so side by side) I haven’t seen this behavior in the native Plex app or YouTube.
It’s quite strange it fades in for like 2 seconds and then goes away, only to come back shortly after. This seems to also happen (albeit more rarely) to the new bottom pull bar as well.
Picture of what I’m talking about below (upper left)
I tried today to troubleshoot this, but could not figure out why it happens.. I would love someone else to also try and test it! Not sure how else to get attention to this?
It’s making the iPad experience unusable for me.
Edit: Alright I figured it out, simply tapping the other window makes it appear. This is certainly a bug. You can tap wait a few seconds and keep seeing it appear. Hmm. @james Sorry, don’t mean to @ but would love someone attention on this.
sadly this isn’t even proper Split View, Apple completely removed it and SlideOver in iPadOS26. Super frustrating and a massive negative compared to 18 imo
Still happening in 8.3 . I don’t mean to be needy, but how do I get the developer to see this? It should be a simple fix and it’s not even in the roadmap.
Thanks
Also I just discovered that the close button and the navigation buttons sometimes collide as well. Making it hard to close out of the video. Certainly seems like this was never tested..
Hm. Upon further testing, this actually affects all video on iPadOS 26! It even happens in the official Apple TV app, strange. Still, there’s room for improvement in the positioning of the close button relative to the new traffic-light control when resizing.
