@james , especially with pictures of actors etc. since 7.1 I really really like the new interface! I just wanted to appreciate that!
All apps run a bit faster on the 2021 Apple TV, including Infuse. 
Playback is largely unchanged, but it’s possible Apple may add features in the future that are only available on the newer models.
I have the new Apple TV and the older 4K one. Honestly, there’s not a noticeable difference. Just get that new remote though. Now that’s makes a big improvement.
