I ran to this sub when I heard this news. With an EV this changes the game. Hopefully infuse can offer a CarPlay app that lets me play downloaded videos on my car screen while my car charges.

one thing to note, your car manufacturer also has to add support for it to your equipment (based on various reports), so it’s not a case of just the app adding support.
It sounds like it is really the car manufacturer adding airplay 2 support, so theoretically it is not a really a CarPlay feature and that should also mean it works with any app.
