iOS 14, InFuse 6.5, Indexing Failed

@james

Support code B5C3V

Just installed ios14, updated Infuse, opened up and did refresh as per what i normally do…

Immediately got back Indexing Failed…

Cleared Metadata thinking might have backend changes, tried again, nada…

Now I have blank libraries, but normal folders work…

Did you do a restart on the iOS device after Infuse gave you that error to see if that would help?

Small folder works, my biggest folder not…

Speaking to an IT guy, see reference below…

Yes, I did reboot

Having searched the forums, there seems to be messages regarding libraries being too big (I searched before posting)… Latent bug perhaps?

I don’t recall that being an issue. How big are we talking about? Link to threads about this?

Is there a thread that is current that leads you to believe this is the issue? Many of the results to a search for that term are several years old. and several versions back.

I’ve seen libraries with 15K videos index without a hitch.

I read through a few of them, none of them have actual resolutions apart from moving from Plex to SMB (not an option)… Thought it would make a kickoff point…

Problem resolved, you’d think with a Petabyte of storage I’d leave some space for Plex to do its thing… Scanning now it seems…

For anyone else running into space issues, InFuse/Plex Scan uses about 13MB of temp space while scanning (in/out)…
