Intro and outro timestamps cannot be updated in real time

After mounting Emby on version 8.4, the intro and outro timestamps cannot be updated in real time.

Are you able to provide a bit more information on the issue you are seeing?

Infuse can use timestamp info if it’s present on the Emby server. If the server does not have timestamp info then it would be able to fetch info from IntroDB.app/TheIntroDB.org. Some titles may not yet have time stamp info available.

You have to clear the cache data or exit and restart for it to take effect.

After modifying the timestamps, the changes won’t take effect immediately, which worked fine in previous versions.

As shown in the video, modifying the intro timestamp takes effect in real time in Emby version 8.3.8.
However, this does not work in real time in version 8.4; cache data must be cleared for the changes to take effect.

The latest version of the opening and ending credits will be cached in infuse for 30 days, which I think is the reason for this

Auto-skipping the credits is great, but not being able to update the timestamp in real time is a bit of a letdown.

@james

How frequently are you updating these timestamps? For efficiency, it’s not always practical to check for updates every single time a video is played.

You have to keep it the same as the original version. The intro detection timestamp isn’t necessarily accurate, which means it needs to be adjusted.
