Installer fails with crash - due to typo in symbol table!

Hi all

Attempting to jailbreak an ATV2 on 4.4.4 from OS X. I’ve downloaded Seasonpass today (2012-01-22) and clicked on the “Create IPSW” icon, but while patching the filesystem or soon after it crashses. The stack trace shows it’s looking for a symbol “_NSLoczlizedString”, a typo no doubt. I’m kinda surprised I’m the only one seeing it in fact…

Stack trace is below.

Sorry about that. This was just fixed in SP 0.8.1 (365) that is now available for download.

The reason this issue hasn’t popped up for anyone else is that it only occurs when a rare IPSW creation issue comes up. Chances are you’re going to get some kind of error (instead of a crash) when running the new version.

If this happens, posting your SP_Debug.log file (locate by selecting ‘Show Log in Finder’ from Seas0nPass > Help menu) will help track down what’s going on.

Hey James - thanks for that, as suspected it bails shortly after with “Filesystem patched failed”. Log is attached.

i am crashing as well - when it gets to the point of restore in itunes …

enclosed is the SP_Debug.log file
